CHM 446 - Advanced Laboratory Techniques II

1 Credit Hour(s) Laboratory: 1 Recitation: 0 Alternative Mode: 0

An interdisciplinary laboratory experience intended as a continuation of CHM 445 . Students will investigate contemporary chemical issues using spectrophotometry, chromatography, electrochemistry, synthesis, purification and characterization. The use of research literature, writing, and oral presentation skills is emphasized. This course along with CHM 445  will meet the Capstone experience requirement for biochemistry and chemistry majors. (Fall)

Prerequisite(s): C- or higher in CHM 445 .
