Management Major

A major in Management prepares students to make strategic decisions, manage people, positively impact organizational culture, and bring innovation to the market. The Management major equips students with the management and leadership skills to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency and provides a broad overview of the functional areas of management. Before exploring topics such as Human Resources management, leadership, project management and strategy, students take comprehensive foundation courses in management, marketing, economics, mathematics, accounting, finance, and ethics. Graduates are prepared to enter the workforce in a variety of areas and industries as they pursue their goals in business.  Students who major in Management may not also major in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management.
