Students will do independent research in the historical and/or political field(s) of their choosing. Fulfills the senior capstone requirement. A POL major with an interest in global affairs may request a course substitution with ITS 409: International Studies Capstone, refer to POL major requirements. (Fall)

Prerequisite(s): COM 100; WRI 101; POL 344. Senior standing or Juniors by permission.
Course Exclusion: This course is cross-listed and students with credit in HIS 405 will not earn credit in POL 409.
