MTH 203 - Secrets of the Sacred Geometry 3 Credit Hour(s) Laboratory: 0 Recitation: 3 Alternative Mode: 0
In this course, students will analyze geometric arguments using deductive reasoning. Topics covered include measurement relating to perimeter, area, and volume in metric units and standard units of measure. Additional topics include coordinate geometry and the study of points, lines, planes, and angles; two-dimensional and three-dimensional figures; transformations, symmetry, and tessellations. Proofs will be explored, specifically around similarity and congruence. Additionally, students will explore the historical development of Euclidean geometry.
