Topics covered are the study of proportional reasoning, percents, number theory, patterns, algebraic reasoning with applications; introductory probability and statistics. Problem solving, communication, attention to precision, critical thinking, and a mathematical growth mindset will be emphasized in the treatment of all topics. (Spring)

Prerequisite(s): For Primary and Middle Childhood majors only: Completion of MTH 117 with a grade of C- or higher.
