ESS 240 - Community Health

Designed to provide students with direction and answers in the field of community health. Course will focus on health issues in the community such as drug abuse, nutrition, environmental health, violence prevention and disease. The course also addresses appropriate responses to problems related to these issues. In addition, needs assessment, program planning, implementation and evaluation will be addressed. (Spring)

Prerequisite(s): ESS, HSC, SPO majors; Health and Wellness minor; others by permission.
Course Exclusion: Students cannot earn credit for this course and HHP 240.
