CHM 103 - Fundamentals of Chemistry

This course explores basic chemical principles and utilizes these principles in discussions about current topics of interest. There is a focus on measurement, atomic structure, after and energy. Students may explore concepts discussed in lecture through an optional hands-on chemistry laboratory experience. This course does not count toward the Chemistry major or minor. No previous chemistry is necessary.

Corequisite(s): If taking this course for their General Education requirement for laboratory science must take both CHM103 and CHM103L in the same semester.
Course Exclusion: This course does not count toward the Chemistry major or minor.
