BIO 312 - Evolution

The process of evolution is defined and evidence from biology and paleontology for the reality of evolution is reviewed. The course next surveys the natural processes which scientists suggest can lead to evolutionary change in groups of organisms and concludes with the postulated evolutionary histories of several important groups, including humans. (Spring)

Prerequisite(s): BIO 123, BIO 124 and BIO 223.
