WSS 305 - Wetlands

Students will learn about the ecology, history, importance, and conservation of wetland ecosystems through interdisciplinary class discussions, field visits, field and lab studies, and research project proposals. Special emphasis will be given to the history and importance of wetlands in the region and the emergence of engineered wetland ecosystems for improving water quality. (Fall, odd-even years).
