ENS 234 - Ecology 4 Credit Hour(s) Laboratory: 1 Recitation: 3 Alternative Mode: 0
An investigation of the ways living organisms interact with each other and their physical environments. Topics include adaptations of individuals to environmental stress, the structure and growth of populations, competition, predation, community ecology and the flow of energy and nutrients through ecosystems. The lab introduces students to experimental ecology. (Fall, odd-even years).
Prerequisite(s): BIO 124 and a statistics (MTH 119 or MTH 312 ) course; COM 100 ; WRI 101 . Course Exclusion: Students with credit for ENS 334 will not receive credit for ENS 234. Fulfills Gen Ed 2011-2021: Reading, Writing
