Chemistry Major

The Chemistry major focuses on matter and the changes it undergoes. Students will (1) demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the composition of matter and the physical and chemical changes it can undergo, (2) design an experiment which applies the scientific method, (3) communicate scientific results and findings, both written and orally, to a diverse audience, and (4) evaluate collected data from experiments.
