ATR 601 - BOC Prep 2 Credit Hour(s)
This course is designed to prepare students for the Board of Certification (BOC) exam. Students will be assisted in the application process for the BOC exam. Students will take a practice BOC exam to determine their strengths and weaknesses in the five domains of the exam: Injury and Illness Prevention and Wellness Promotion; Examination, Assessment and Diagnosis; Immediate and Emergency Care; Therapeutic Intervention; and Healthcare Administration and Professional Responsibility. After understanding their weaknesses, the course will focus on improving proficiency in those areas with various forms of review and testing. Upon completion of this course, students will be better prepared to sit for the BOC examination. (Spring)
