ATR 595 - Advanced Professional Practice

This course is designed to address medical ethics and what it means to be culturally competent. Students will be exposed to a variety of ethical dilemmas, psychosocial issues, and be educated on the Athletic Training Code of Ethics. Students will also learn how to work with diverse people and treat patients with the care that they need, regardless of race, religion, and nationality. (Spring)

Prerequisite(s): Admission into the MAT program; ATR 570
