ENS 334 - Ecology 4 Credit Hour(s) Laboratory: 1 Recitation: 3 Alternative Mode: 0
An investigation of the ways living organisms interact with each other and their physical environments. Topics include adaptations of individuals to environmental stress, the structure and growth of populations, competition, predation, community ecology and the flow of energy and nutrients through ecosystems. The lab introduces students to experimental ecology. Three recitations and one 3-hour laboratory period per week (Fall odd-even years)
Prerequisite(s): BIO 124 and a statistics (MTH 119 or MTH 312 ) course Course Exclusion: Students with credit for ENS 234 will not receive credit for ENS 334. Fulfills Gen Ed 2011-2021: Reading, Writing
