MTH 114 - Amazing Mathematics

This course covers several interesting and useful topics in mathematics: graph theory, statistics and probability, financial math, applications in voting systems, games, and social choices. A goal of this course is to acquire processes in thinking and mathematical methods that will increase the student’s problem solving ability. A scientific calculator or laptop is very useful. (Fall, Spring)

Prerequisite(s): Placement exam or C- or higher in MTH 090 .
