CHM 103 - Fundamentals of Chemistry

4 Credit Hour(s) Laboratory: 1 Recitation: 3 Alternative Mode: 0

This course explores basic chemical principles and utilizes these principles in discussions about current topics of interest. There is a focus on measurement, atomic structure, matter and energy. Students will explore concepts discussed in lecture through a hands-on chemistry laboratory experience. No previous chemistry is necessary.

Course Exclusion: This course does not count toward the Chemistry major or minor.
