MUS 560 - Special Topics in Music Education

A series of rotating seminars/workshops exploring topics relevant to practical teaching applications for music educators. Each workshop will focus on a topic of general interest, and will feature presentations from Heidelberg music faculty members and visiting clinicians with expertise in the specific area. Clinicians will be chosen based upon recognized accomplishment in the field, and will be experienced both in the content area and in instruction of practicing music educators. The seminar/workshops will meet for a minimum of twenty contact hours. Each seminar/workshop will culminate in the development of an individual project related to the workshop topic and the student’s teaching experiences.
