COU 535 - Couples, Relationships, and Families


2 Credit Hour(s)

This course is designed to assist students in gaining a broad background in couple and family systems assessment, prevention, and intervention for various family and behavioral health concerns. The course will cover the tenets of systems orientation and the number of models of family behavior and family counseling - including evidence based practices in the field of couple and family counseling. This course will also explore the influence of culture and other contextual variables on family development. (Spring)
